Job Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced
AZ Driver
based out ofWheatley, Ontario
. The successful candidate will operate company trucks equipped with either abox or flatbed trailer
, transporting goods withinSouthwestern Ontario
(up to the Greater Toronto Area) and across the border toMichigan and Ohio
. This is apart-time position
with the opportunity forfull-time hours
when covering other drivers' vacations.Key Responsibilities:
Operate AZ vehicles safely and professionally, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Secure flatbed loads using proper strapping techniques; experience with load securement is required. Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with company and regulatory standards. Accurately complete all required border crossing and shipping documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch and maintain delivery schedules. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
Requirements:
Valid
AZ Driver's Licence
with aminimum of 3 years of verified experience
. Must haverecent driving experience within the last 12 months
(no retired or inactive drivers). Experience operating bothbox and flatbed trucks
, includingproper load strapping
. Must beeligible to cross the U.S. border
(Michigan and Ohio routes). Ability to provide acurrent CVOR and driver's abstract
showing a safe driving record. Willingness to undergodrug and alcohol testing
as required.Confirmation of previous employment
preferred. Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently.Schedule:
Part-time
with opportunity forfull-time hours
during vacation coverage.Home daily
- no overnight runs.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour
