Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of freight transportation and have experience in commercial driving. This role requires operating various types of vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Perform routine maintenance and minor automotive repairs on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (AZ) is required. Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance tasks. Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and clients.
