AZ DRIVER
Overview
Located in Ottawa, Ontario, Central Precast was established in 1956 and began manufacturing precast concrete products for the general construction industry. The product line and manufacturing facility grew to include landscape products, steps, and architectural panels and is a part of The Precast Group which is the largest precast concrete products producer in Eastern Ontario. The Precast Group has three manufacturing operations: Central Precast, M Con Products and Utility Structures Inc. Our mission is to meet the demands of our customers and employees, under a safe working environment, where service and quality are at the forefront.

Responsibilities
Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product.
Maintaining daily electronic driving logs.
Drive to destinations as outlined in the manifest in a safe, responsible, manner and in compliance with all laws and transportation regulations.
Notifying Customer Service of any route changes, time delays, and non-delivered orders.
Checking-in with customers at each designated
Finding solutions to possible challenges with the assistance of Customer Service.
Unloading and delivering a product to an assigned area within the account as directed by the customer.
Submitting customer payments and paperwork to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education Required:
Ontario Class AZ License or Quebec Equivalent.
Highschool diploma, preferred
Years of Experience
1-2 years Boom Experience, preferred
Specific Experience
Safe driving record.
Commitment to quality customer service by utilizing excellent communication skills.
Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow all established procedures and regulations.
Ability to apply general math and mechanical maintenance skills.
Flexibility to work extended hours as needed is preferred.
Handling heavy loads
Physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, may be required
Prior experience in a precast concrete plant would be a strong asset
Competencies
Self-starter, with excellent work ethic
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Maintain high level of safety at all times
Able to work in a fast-paced, high production environment
Willing to work overtime and shifts when needed including Saturdays
Able to work unsupervised, motivated to complete all tasks

Maintain a professional attitude at all times, especially when handling stressful situations

Wage ~$35.82-$39.06/hr (includes vacation pay, benefits and pension, as per collective agreement)
