We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently, hauling with a triaxle and pony. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to handle heavy equipment. Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment to transport materials to designated locations. Ensure effective time-management while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules and any issues that may arise. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles when necessary.
Skills
Proficiency in heavy equipment operation. Valid AZ Licence. Experience hauling with a pony. Knowledge of handling procedures and practices. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
