Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment and has basic knowledge of automotive repairs.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel use, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading tasks. Available to work 5 days a week. Strong knowledge of GTA roads and routes. Reliable and flexible to drive within and outside the GTA. Ability to lift packages up to 25 kg.

Qualifications

Valid AZ driver's license with a clean abstract. Proven experience

operating manual transmission tractor trailers

with a understanding of commercial driving and freight transportation. Minimum 2 years experience driving. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts. Basic knowledge of truck repair is preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to pass all required background checks and drug screenings.
