POSITION OVERVIEW

Gray Ridge Eggs Inc. is looking to hire full and part time AZ Driver for our Listowel, Ontario facility. We are looking for drivers to pick up eggs from our producers and/or make store deliveries in a timely and safe manner.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. Operate heavy equipment or forklifts when required for loading and unloading tasks.

Skills

Candidate must be able to read, write and speak English and have basic math skills. Candidate must have a valid AZ license, Driver's Abstract, CVOR Abstract and an acceptable driving record. Experience operating heavy equipment is beneficial for loading and unloading freight. Strong understanding of freight logistics and delivery processes. Excellent navigational skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS technology. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Approximately 44-50 hours a week.
