Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, maintenance, and safety regulations. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities

Operate vehicles to transport freight, materials, or equipment to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness. Operate heavy equipment or forklifts when required for loading or unloading tasks.

Experience

1 year old AZ license required. Proven experience in commercial driving or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with automotive repair techniques is a plus. Experience operating heavy equipment or forklifts is desirable. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
