Job Description

The AZ Tanker/DZ Power Vac Operator is a critical role responsible for operating and maintaining specialized equipment used in hydro excavation and industrial cleaning services. This position requires a strong understanding of safety procedures, excellent equipment operation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Aqua Fast Flush Operator plays a vital role in providing efficient and reliable services to clients while adhering to company standards and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Equipment Operation: Operate AZ Tanker/DZ Power Vac equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the equipment to ensure safe and proper functioning.
Perform hydro excavation and industrial cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.
Monitor and adjust equipment settings as needed to achieve optimal performance.

Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Follow company, industry, and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on AZ Tanker/DZ Power Vac equipment.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule and complete necessary repairs or servicing.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.
Communicate effectively with other crew members to coordinate tasks and ensure a safe working environment.
Support and assist colleagues as needed to complete projects on time and meet client expectations.

Documentation and Reporting: Complete job tickets, work orders, and other necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain records of job activities, including time spent, materials used, and any incidents or challenges encountered.
Report project progress, equipment issues, and any client concerns or feedback to the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Valid AZ driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 3 years of experience operating AZ Tanker (heavy haul) /DZ Power Vac equipment. Knowledge of hydro excavation and industrial cleaning techniques, procedures, and best practices. Strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to follow safety guidelines strictly. Mechanical aptitude and experience with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Detail-oriented and able to complete documentation accurately. Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor Flexibility to work on-call, weekends, and overtime as required. Valid certifications or training related to hydro excavation and industrial cleaning are an asset.
