Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety.

Duties

Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Perform minor repairs or maintenance on vehicles when necessary.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license class AZ preferred; 2-3 years' experience in commercial heavy hauling driving. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required by the job. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members. A clean driving record with no major violations is preferred; background checks may be conducted.
