Job Description

Roc Terra Soil Managment is seeking an experienced AZ Driver to operate our water truck and sweeper. The job will transport and distribute water for various purposes, such as dust control and road maintenance within the site. The driver will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensure proper water levels, and adhere to safety regulations and traffic laws.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating the Water Truck:

Driving the water truck and Bobcat Sweeper safely and efficiently to designated areas within the site and driveway.

Water Distribution:

Discharging water for dust suppression, road maintenance, or other purposes, controlling flow and pressure to prevent wastage.

Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections:

Conducting thorough inspections of the truck's mechanical condition, safety equipment, and fluid levels before and after each shift.

Maintenance and Repairs:

Performing routine maintenance tasks like checking oil levels, tire pressure, and cleaning the truck. Reporting any mechanical issues or damage to the supervisor.

Safety Compliance:

Adhering to all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensuring the truck is operated safely to prevent accidents.

Communication:

Communicating with supervisors, and other team members to address any issues that may arise.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate logs of water usage, trips, and maintenance activities.

Loading and Unloading:

Safely loading and unloading water

Problem Solving:

Addressing any operational or mechanical issues that may arise during the shift to supervisor on duty.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or other team members at the site.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.50-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 60 per week
