Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving, as well as experience with heavy equipment operation and freight handling. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

Duties

Operate vehicles to transport goods to various locations in a safe and timely manner Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times Assist with the operation of forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles when necessary Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment preferred Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform minor automotive repairs Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and clients
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
