Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and equipment, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the overall safety and efficiency of our operations. This role offers an opportunity to work with heavy equipment and develop a broad skill set in transportation and vehicle maintenance. Candidates should possess a valid driver's license, experience with commercial driving, and familiarity with heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

. Haul dry van (solo or team)

Local Brampton runs (home daily)

OR

cross-border/long-haul (home weekly) Pre/post-trip inspections + ELD compliance Safe, on-time delivery to customers (Walmart, Amazon, Loblaws, etc.) Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight, equipment, and materials to various locations Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries and pickups

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations Ability to work independently and adhere to schedules in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred

Valid AZ License

Minimum 1 year verifiable AZ driving experience

Clean CVOR & Abstract

(no more than 2 minor violations)

Able to cross border? FAST Card is a plus

Permanent Resident (PR) or Canadian citizen preferred

Must pass drug screen & background check

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.29-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

Work Location: In person
