We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight, equipment, and personnel to various locations while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. This role offers an opportunity to work with heavy equipment and develop expertise in commercial driving and vehicle maintenance. The Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations and supporting our company's logistical needs.

Duties

Operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport freight and equipment efficiently and safely Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met Assist with the maintenance and minor repairs of vehicles and equipment, including automotive repair tasks when necessary Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance logs Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities Coordinate with warehouse or logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups Safely operate heavy machinery such as forklifts when required for loading or unloading cargo

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and other machinery safely Knowledge of automotive repair or basic vehicle maintenance is a plus Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures diligently Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks as needed Prior experience operating heavy equipment is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 70 per week
