Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and personnel, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a professional with strong driving skills, knowledge of vehicle maintenance, and the ability to operate various types of machinery to support our logistics operations.

Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight and personnel to designated locations Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance to keep vehicles in optimal condition Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery schedules Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities Assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and inventory management when required Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered

Skills

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, and freight handling machinery Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety standards Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local routes and traffic regulations Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and dispatchers Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of safety awareness

Pay: $4,685.61-$7,301.25 per month
