Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional AZ Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, including shuttle buses, delivery trucks, and other heavy-duty vehicles. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong customer service abilities, and a commitment to safety and maintenance standards. The AZ Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and passenger transport while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

Safely operate various types of commercial vehicles such as shuttle buses, delivery trucks, and school buses Transport passengers or goods efficiently and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Assist with loading and unloading cargo, including heavy lifting when necessary Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, seating, and inquiries Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance logs Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues Follow all safety protocols to ensure the safety of passengers, cargo, and other road users

Qualifications

Valid AZ driver's license with a clean driving record Experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or paratransit services is preferred Strong communication skills for interacting with passengers and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for loading or unloading cargo Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues early Experience with commercial driving regulations and safety standards Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and customer service excellence Ability to handle long hours on the road and work flexible schedules as needed
