We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting freight and materials efficiently and safely across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance. Duties

Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight, equipment, and materials to designated locations Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain safety standards Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand tools Maintain proper documentation for shipments, including delivery logs and inspection reports Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations Assist with heavy equipment operation as needed for loading or unloading processes

Skills

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting skills is a plus Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and compliance Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments
