Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment when necessary.

Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight and materials to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles as needed to ensure optimal performance.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Experience operating forklifts is a plus. Background in automotive repair is beneficial but not required. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
