Job Description
J E Culp Transport is a growing cross-border trucking company. We specialize in Bulk Goods Hauling between Ontario and the U.S.
Due to our continued growth, we are hiring experienced AZ Company Drivers to become a part of our great team on daily runs that bring you back to the yard every day. As well there is opportunity for OTR work running to Illinois for those who prefer to run Longer Distance. Driver will operate Pneumatic Bulk Tankers.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily runs to Michigan Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical items and safety issues to ensure safe operation and public safety Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, equipment damage and property damage when applicable Maintain E-logs in accordance with DOT & MTO Regulations Retain copies of fuel, and border toll receipts, as well as pick-up and delivery tickets to complete daily paperwork Approximately 600Km-900km a day, 10-14 hour runs Home nightly Monday to Friday Schedule
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
Valid AZ License Must be able to cross US border daily Waste Hauling experience would be an asset Heavy hauling experience is an asset 3+ years of related AZ driving experience Ability to provide Driver's Abstract, CVOR Abstract, and criminal background check Great attitude and work ethic Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
