Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tanker Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting dry bulk in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, demonstrate proficiency in heavy equipment operation, and maintain a commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

Operate tanker trucks to transport dry bulk to designated locations. Ensure the proper loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to all safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo weight. Comply with all federal, provincial, and local transportation regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment. Basic automotive repair skills to address minor vehicle issues on the road. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards throughout operations. Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
