Role Overview



The Ayurvedic Therapist/Consultant is responsible for delivering authentic Ayurvedic treatments and personalized wellness guidance that align with Atmana's standards of care. This role blends hands?on therapeutic expertise with compassionate guest education, ensuring each individual feels seen, supported, and transformed.

Key Responsibilities

Authentic Ayurvedic Treatments



Perform Atmana's full suite of Ayurvedic therapies, including Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Udvartana, Kati Basti, Pinda Sweda, and other traditional treatments. Prepare herbal oils, decoctions, and treatment materials according to classical Ayurvedic methods. Maintain treatment rooms to Atmana's premium standards -- serene, spotless, and energetically balanced.

Consultation & Personalized Guidance



Conduct Ayurvedic assessments using prakriti/vikriti analysis, lifestyle evaluation, and pulse reading (if trained). Create individualized wellness plans including diet, daily routines, herbal suggestions, and self?care rituals. Educate guests in a warm, accessible, and empowering way that reflects Atmana's nurturing tone.

Guest Experience Excellence



Deliver a seamless, heartfelt guest journey from arrival to departure. Maintain accurate treatment notes and ensure continuity of care. Collaborate with the Atmana team to uphold a cohesive, premium guest experience.

Operational & Team Support



Uphold strict hygiene, safety, and sanitation protocols. Manage inventory of oils, herbs, and treatment supplies. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and brand development initiatives.

Qualifications



Certification or diploma in Ayurveda (Ayurvedic therapy, Panchakarma therapy, Ayurvedic health counselor, or equivalent). 1-2+ years of experience in Ayurvedic treatments or holistic wellness. Strong understanding of Ayurvedic anatomy, doshas, and therapeutic protocols. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, guest?centered approach. Availability for evenings/weekends as required in a spa environment. Additional training in yoga, meditation, or holistic healing is an asset.
