We are looking for experienced AWS Tech Leads / Architects to join a major financial client. The selected individuals will play a critical role in architecture discussions, provide technical oversight, and lead a team of 5 10 AWS Data Engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and participate in AWS-based architecture design and discussions Review and approve technical designs and code deliverables Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to AWS Data Engineers Ensure adherence to cloud best practices, DevOps, and deployment standards Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience in AWS cloud architecture and data engineering In-depth knowledge of SQL - Expert (Must have), AWS (Redshift/Lambda/Glue/SQS/SNS/CloudWatch/Step function/CDK(or Terraform)) - Expert (Must have), PySpark, AWS Airflow, Python Proven ability to lead technical discussions and architectural decisions Experience managing or mentoring teams (5 10 engineers) Strong grasp of CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code tools Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS certification (Solutions Architect/Data Engineer) * Prior experience in the financial services industry
