The AWS Full Stack Software Developer position is part of the Product Management team and will be responsible for developing the software components that build on top of the AWS serverless framework. This position is based in Vaughan, ON.

Requirements

Minimum of 4-6 years of expertise in NodeJS, Javascript/Typescript, CSS, HTML, Bootstrap and jQuery. Experience in frontend framework such as jQuery, Bootsrap. Highly proficient with AWS SAM Serverless Framework. CircleCI, CI/CD Have experience with SQL and Node.js, and Serverless development

Key Responsibilities:

Engage from the inception of a project, shaping its approach, defining scope, setting milestones, and crafting the overall solution design. Implement proposed solutions hands-on. This includes writing robust and scalable code, configuring external components, and experimenting with new technology to ensure our platform remains state-of-the-art. Produce clear and maintainable code. Create essential documentation to assist both the current team and future developers. Stay keenly aware of team priorities, deadlines, and backlogs. Provide necessary coaching and assistance to the team, ensuring timely project completion. Gain a deep understanding of the functionality being developed to ensure you're well-positioned to support the team throughout the development lifecycle. Join our daily scrum meetings, contributing insights to shape our technical processes, refine our architecture, and strategize development of the product. Adhere to our stringent privacy, security, and confidentiality policies, ensuring our platform remains trustworthy for all users.

Skills Required

Expertise in databases: MongoDB, MySQL, RDS. Highly proficient with SQL and Node.js, and Serverless development Knowledgeable in AWS Security framework. Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite a big plus. Understands CI/CD pipeline best practices. Strong grasp of software development principles and best practices. Experience in API development and integration. Comfortable with version control systems such as GitHub. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team. Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities. Strong communication capabilities, with an emphasis on team collaboration. A degree or diploma in Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
