AWS DevSecOps Engineer

THE OPPORTUNITY

TechInsights is seeking an experienced DevSecOps individual to secure our AWS-based CI/CD operations across multiple regions in North America and Europe. Reporting to the CISO and embedded in the DevOps team, your focus will be on all three aspects of CIA: Confidentiality (customer information), Integrity (protection of intellectual property) and Availability (resiliency of the operational architecture through back-ups / snapshots, VPC peering, use of multiple availability zones, and Terraform). You bring sound knowledge of DevOps on AWS and how to secure such, and you possess a deep understanding of the security requirements of ISO 27001:2013 and SOC2.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

? Work collaboratively to secure daily operations
? Enhance the company's IT infrastructure security protocols
? Build out a robust security, identity, and compliance program on AWS
? Recommend strategic improvements to the company's operations on AWS

WHAT YOU HAVE

? Knowledge of the use of numerous AWS security resources is required, both individually, as well as their integration into a holistic security architecture
? Knowledge of HTML, REST, JSON, and the ability to script in Python
? Experience with linting, SCA, SAST, DAST, security in IAC, container hygiene, and secrets management
? Experience with the successful validation of 800-53, SA-11, Developer Testing and Evaluation
? Deep understanding of OWASP and OWASP API risks
? Security certification from AWS or other is required. CI/CD certification from AWS or other is preferred
