AWS Cloud Engineer

Duration:

Principal tasks and responsibilities include:

Design, automate, and optimize the clients Kubernetes container environment. Implement CI/CD AWS pipelines and scripts to automate cloud resource creation.

Qualifications and pre-requisites

:

Design, deploy, and manage container orchestration platforms, including monitoring Amazon EKS clusters, implementing Kubernetes autoscaling, and ensuring robust Docker container management. Build, package, and deploy applications into containers using tools like Docker and Podman. This includes creating Docker files, container images, and managing container registries. Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for containerized applications, enabling automated builds, testing, and deployments. Setup monitoring and logging solutions for containerized applications, such as Prometheus and Grafana, to ensure visibility and troubleshooting capabilities. Analyze and optimize the performance of containerized applications, including resource allocation, horizontal scaling, and load balancing. Develop Shell/Python scripts, AWS Lambda functions, and CloudFormation templates to automate cloud resource creation, including accounts, network services, and firewall rules. Build CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline or GitLab Runner. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, procedures, and runbooks.
