Job Description

Role: AWS Architect/SRE

Job Location: Canada REMOTE

Job type: Contract on T4 only

Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Develop design & architect solutions using AWS services - VPC, Compute, Storage, Network & Security

\xc2\xb7 Develop and provision infrastructure using CloudFormation or Terraform templates

\xc2\xb7 Perform native Systems Administration functions using Scripting, etc in Linux and/or Windows environments

\xc2\xb7 Using DevOps tools perform deployment of new software and upgrades and complete fixes across environments

\xc2\xb7 Create or modify custom scripts and code using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, NodeJS, Bash script

\xc2\xb7 Working experience in tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins, Atlassian, Azure DevOps

\xc2\xb7 Automating deployment of applications, system configurations and security settings

\xc2\xb7 Implementation of AWS & DevOps best practices and tooling

Mandatory & Desired Skills:

\xc2\xb7 10+ years overall experience with at least 4+ years in AWS and minimum of 2+ years in DevOps

\xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of AWS foundation - VPC, Compute, Storage, Network & Security

\xc2\xb7 Ability to provision infrastructure using Cloud Formation or Terraform

\xc2\xb7 2+ years of working knowledge on Chef or Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins

\xc2\xb7 Understanding of GIT, CI/CD pipeline is added plus

\xc2\xb7 Hands on knowledge of Python or PowerShell or Node.JS

\xc2\xb7 Strong Administration skills in Linux and/or Windows

Mandatory Knowledge:

\xc2\xb7 Core AWS services: EC2, S3, EBS, ELB, Route53, VPC, Architecture, etc.,

\xc2\xb7 Automation/Infra-As-Code: Terraform or CloudFormation

Good to have Knowledge:

\xc2\xb7 DevOps: Strong knowledge on Chef or Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins. Understanding of GIT, CI/CD Pipeline
