Position Overview



The

Awards & Stakeholder Relations Representative

is responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with clients, awardees, and key stakeholders. This role ensures effective communication, coordination, and professional representation throughout the lifecycle of the awards program.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, discretion, and the confidence to interact with senior stakeholders, including public officials and industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities



Communication & Professional Representation



Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills Maintain clear, professional, and timely correspondence with clients, awardees, and stakeholders Represent the organization positively and professionally in all interactions

Client & Awardee Engagement



Build and maintain strong professional and social relationships with clients and award recipients Serve as the primary point of contact for awardees, providing guidance and support throughout the award process Ensure a positive and seamless experience for awardees from initial engagement through program completion

Government & Community Relations



Establish and maintain professional connections with Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs), Members of Parliament (MPs), Ministers, and Mayors Coordinate outreach and engagement with public officials to support award-related initiatives Facilitate formal greetings, acknowledgments, and participation by public representatives when required

Public Relations & Special Engagements



Coordinate formal visits and greetings involving public figures, including politicians and cinema personalities, as appropriate Support relationship-building initiatives that enhance the visibility, credibility, and reputation of the awards program

Event Organization & Coordination



Plan, organize, and coordinate award ceremonies, meetings, and related engagements Liaise with awardees, guests, and stakeholders to ensure smooth planning and execution Manage schedules, invitations, confirmations, and on-site coordination as required

Coordination & Reporting



Work closely with internal teams to align communications, events, and award-related activities Maintain accurate records of stakeholder engagements, meetings, and events Provide updates and summary reports on client, awardee, and stakeholder interactions when requested

Strong, trusted relationships with clients, awardees, and key public stakeholders Well-organized and professionally executed award events and engagements Enhanced visibility, reputation, and credibility of the awards program High satisfaction among awardees, partners, and stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills (Optional)



Experience in stakeholder relations, client services, public relations, event coordination, or a similar role Strong interpersonal, networking, and communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Comfortable engaging with senior officials, dignitaries, and high-profile individuals Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
