Education & Experience

• 10+ years\' experience within a financial markets context
• Strong knowledge of market risk pricing models and product valuations for FX and Rates
• Solid understanding of financial derivatives and their trading, pricing and risk management
• Ability to work with front office and risk management to prototype new risk management capabilities
• Technical background in one or more major programming language (C++, C#, Java, Python etc.)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution

This role has responsibility to lead the Market Risk and Product Control technology teams overseeing the technology and delivery capabilities to support the global footprint of the dealer.

• Develop & execute on TDS Market Risk and Product Control Technology Strategy aligned with various business and complimentary technology strategies. Focus areas include:

• Regulatory and Business aligned Risk and Reporting Functionality
• Retirement of legacy applications in line with Target Operating Model
• Provide counsel and guidance on technical, financial, and analytical expertise to team and business partners
• Plan, develop roadmap and execute on strategic activities, review and communicate results, and adjust tactics accordingly
• Lead the development of, and oversee Market Risk and Product Control Technologies of the highest degree of complexity
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with business line management and senior leaders; present and validate results and justify or remediate any observed anomalies
• Manage overall budget, revenue and expenditures, meet business objectives while increasing efficiency and effectiveness
• Proactively identify key business opportunities, research and recommend enhancements / modifications and keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements
• Establish best in class platform resilience aligned with industry standards.
• Work closely with Production Engineering team to establish a viable support model including measures and monitoring capabilities.
