Department Overview

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Associate Vice President, Active Trading, Social Content and Education, Direct Investing, TD Wealth to join our team as a digital broker. As AVP, Active Trading, Social Content and Education, Direct Investing, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging content on YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, and other relevant platforms to acquire and engage clients for our digital brokerage services.

You will be responsible for building a positive brand image, establishing a strong online presence, and fostering relationships with potential clients. As a public spokesperson for TD - you will develop and delivers economic and market insights with a passion for educating investors and helping TD Direct Investing active traders get their money right. You will be a dynamic public speaker and able to translate complex concepts and strategies to a variety of audiences.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of social media platforms, possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate a passion for the financial industry, have an existing social media following with examples of their work, and be proficient in using complex trading platforms with expertise in option trading strategies or day trading.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a content creator or brand ambassador in the digital space, particularly on YouTube, Twitter, and Reddit.
- An existing social media following and examples of previous work, showcasing your ability to engage and grow an online audience.
- Proficiency in using complex trading platforms and experience with option trading strategies or day trading.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial industry, including brokerage services, trading, investments, and related topics.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of content creation projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media metrics and draw actionable insights.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative content ideas.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, influencers, and industry professionals.
- A passion for finance and digital technology with a willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends.

Job Details

The role will report into the VP, Active Trader, TD Direct Investing.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to promote our digital brokerage services and attract potential clients.
- Create high-quality, engaging, and informative content across various platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, and other relevant channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content creation with the overall brand strategy and promotional campaigns.
- Engage with the online community, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Build and maintain a strong online presence by actively participating in discussions and forums related to finance, investments, and trading.
- Utilize your existing social media following to amplify the reach and impact of our content.
- Showcase your expertise and provide valuable insights through your content, demonstrating your knowledge of the financial industry, complex trading platforms, and option trading strategies or day trading.
- Collaborate with influencers and industry experts to amplify brand awareness and reach a wider audience.
- Stay up to date with industry news, market trends, and competitor activities to identify potential business development opportunities.
- Represent the brand professionally at industry events, webinars, conferences, and other relevant networking opportunities.
- Provide regular reports on social media performance, content effectiveness, and audience insights to the management team.
