Job Summary

An Aviation Store Person plays an important role as "gatekeeper" to all helicopter parts going in and out of inventory ("stores")

This position reports directly to the Director of Maintenance and the job location is at our hanger in Abbotsford, BC. It also requires a full-time availability ( Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm) and can include overtime during the busy wildfire suppression season (summer months).

Payment will be negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities

Receiving and inspecting incoming inventory parts. Storing inventory items in the appropriate location & ensuring they are easily accessible and well-organized. Issuing aircraft inventory items to the maintenance personnel, tracking inventory levels and ensuring adequate supplies are available. Recording inventory transactions in a computer system and manual system (must be familiar with purchase order process) Conducting regular inventory audits. Coordinate with our suppliers to order parts/equipment, and facilitate delivery or local pick up. Exceptional

and high level of accuracy. Ability to be assertive, take initiative and be proactive. Proficient multitasking and organization skills.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of related aviation maintenance experience. Minimum of 2 year of aviation storekeeping experience. Experience in aviation inventory management and bookkeeping is a plus. Proficiency in time management and organizational skills is essential for success in this position. Strong knowledge of Transport Canada regulations Valid level 5 driver's license with a clean driving abstract. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs safely and regularly. Strong computer proficiency, particularly in MS Office and Excel. Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Pay: $25.66-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
