Fast Air Jet Centre - Abbotsford, BC - CYXX - Aviation Linecrew

As an integral part of our fast - paced organization, you will function as a cohesive member of our team by providing exceptional customer service while carrying out your Aviation Linecrew duties. This role is responsible for ensuring all aspects of the aircraft are taken care of to ensure readiness for our clients. You must be customer service driven and be eager to provide VIP service to all clients.

The Position:

Operate fuel truck and other company equipment, load and deliver product as required

Complete daily and other periodic equipment checks as directed

Completion of company records as directed

Take initiative and anticipate customer needs, accept responsibility, and take appropriate actions

Transport customers in company van

Pick-up parts, supplies and catering with company vehicle

Marshall aircraft on ramp, load and unload freight and luggage

Tow aircraft as required

Do light cleaning and maintenance including snow removal, facility maintenance (cut grass/water flowers)

Mop and clean hangar floor as required

Adhere to company policies, and foster a safe work environment

Varied shifts, 12-hour shifts, overtime pay, call-out pay

Requirements:

Must have Class 3 license with Air endorsement (Class 3A)

Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service

Ability to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing

Willing to undergo security screening

Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills

Displays a mechanical ability and ease with operating equipment in a safety-sensitive environment

Willingness to work independently or as a team

Excellent time management and ability to multitask

Works well under pressure

Ability to support industry-leading culture of safety

Maintain professional appearance

Ability to maintain a respectful workplace

Reliable means of transportation

Aviation related or fuel handling experience an asset
