About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, the AV Systems Integrator will be responsible for proficiency in the installation of audio/visual, access, CCTV and video conference, network, and control systems. The position requires the ability to configure and troubleshoot device and system problems.

The ideal candidate must be a team-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills to work effectively in overseeing installation crews and product delivery, working closely with team members to ensure that installations are carried out within the specified timeframe and guidelines in an efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be expected to be the daily face of the company to the on-site team that includes clients, designers, developers and architects and their staff.

The ideal candidate will be expected to adhere to the highest quality installation work standards that exist in the industry to bring project installations to final configuration ready status.

Comparable Job Titles: Lead Installation Technician, Senior Installer, Lead Technician, Senior Systems Technician.

Schedule: Day Shifts (Typical) | Overnight Shifts (Occasional) | On Call (Scheduled)

Hours per Week: 44 to 48 hours per week + Overtime

Education: Highschool / GED (required) | College (preferred)

Your Impact
  • Perform system diagnostics, trouble shooting, and report issues to Management.
  • Manage onsite technicians and assist Management with overall project needs.
  • Provide effective communication by supplying daily updates to Management, including performance challenges.
  • Perform quality control checks on finished product/projects.
  • Interface with external/internal clients and manufacture vendors.
  • Pre-installation site survey and site progress reviews.
  • Fabricate racks in-house or onsite at client location.
  • Rig and mount equipment and displays.
  • Installation of structured cabling to include pulling, termination, and testing including, but not limited to, Cat6/7, fiber, video, Coax, RG 6/59, RGB, HDMI, DVI and audio cables.
  • Installation of all AV, access, CCTV, network, and control equipment.
  • Sign out and secure inventory and non-inventory consumables per project.
  • Restocking and inventory of equipment/consumables.
  • Perform AV service calls both remotely and field services.
  • Proactively identify and solve issues that will impact the project.
  • Ensure that project deliverables and milestones are met including close out documentation and punch list items.
  • Responsible for returning product to warehouse and inventory DOA.
  • Service & support client systems post project.
  • Participate in after-hour Tech-On-Call programs, supporting exiting systems remotely and/or in the field.
  • Comply with all safe work practices and technical standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based upon business need.
About You
  • 4+ years\' experience in systems installation including equipment rack fabrication, site preparation, termination, mounting, configuration, testing audio, video, control, and other integrated technology systems is required.
  • High school diploma or GED is required. Diploma or degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Valid driver\'s license and safe driving record is required.
  • Police background check will be required.
  • Experience in reading/understanding architecture, electrical, structural & AV systems drawings is an asset.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of audio, video, control, lighting, and networking systems and standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, including strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving/troubleshoot abilities with deductive reasoning skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and in a collaborative envrionment.
  • Ability to interface well with builders, trades, consultants, tech support, end users.
  • Ability to work out of town projects requiring hotel/multiple overnight trips.
  • Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds).
  • Physically able to walk, sit, stand, stoop, bend, reach, climb ladders, work from elevated scaffolding and mobile lifting platforms, and operate lifting platforms.
  • Dexterity to operate hand and power tools, a computer keyboard, mouse, and to interact with other office equipment.
