Certified or similarly experienced Automotive Journeyman/Journeywoman Technician

to join our team.

Technical Skills and Abilities:



Have a good mechanical aptitude. Have and maintain advanced technical knowledge of automobiles & light trucks. Ability to communicate effectively (Articulate reading, writing and typing skills & speak fluent English). Moderate computer software program usage skills. Physically fit to perform required duties of job description. Demonstrate flexibility to perform maintenance, service and repair work on various types of vehicles including North American, Asian and European. Participate in all company supported training programs.

Credentials:



Valid drivers license w/properly maintained record is required (current drivers abstract must be supplied upon request). Valid high school diploma or equivalent is required (must be supplied upon request). Valid Automotive Service Technician Red Seal License is an asset (must be supplied upon request). Saskatchewan (SGI) Vehicle Mechanical Safety Standards & Inspections Certificate is an asset. Air Conditioning Certificate is an asset. Windshield removal, installation and chip repair experience ia an asset. Ability to demonstrate the knowledge required for Provincial Emissions Safety Standards. Possess required tools, maintain in proper working condition, and upgrade as necessary. Able to keep shop tools and equipment clean, organized and returned to storage.

General :



Fully inspect, diagnose & repair vehicles correctly within the labour guide standards, a with the training & skill level of a Class A or B Tech.

Vehicle road testing, confirming customer complaints, basic diagnosing of problems, meticulously inspecting vehicles (all makes and models of cars and light trucks), and professional maintenance and repair of vehicles. Performing complete and thorough repairs, on all makes and models of cars and light trucks, so that they are safe and reliable. Perform proper Wheel Alignments and understand the principles of it. Must be willing and able to diligently follow company policies and work well with a team. Various tasks of general shop upkeep and shop maintenance (minimal).
