Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments to identify vehicle issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
Carry out routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and other scheduled work.
Utilize a wide range of hand and power tools to perform mechanical repairs and component replacements.
Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components as required for inspection and repair.
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
Maintain detailed and accurate service records for all vehicles.
Adhere to all workplace safety standards and company policies to ensure a secure and efficient working environment.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic; experience in a large chain or high-volume shop environment is an asset.
Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and computerized diagnostic equipment.
Familiarity with
AutoServe1
or other digital vehicle inspection software is considered an advantage.
Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
Physical capability to perform tasks involving moderate to heavy lifting.
Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
