Supervise, mentor, and train a team of auto glass technicians, ensuring technical proficiency and high morale.
Health & Safety:
Enforce all health and safety regulations.
Training:
Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions for new and current technicians, with hands-on demonstrations.
Skill Assessment:
Evaluate technician skills through testing and observation, providing feedback and additional training as needed.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect services for quality, enforce procedures, and resolve customer complaints.
Service Coordination:
Schedule appointments, confirm details with customers, manage inventory, and order supplies.
Technical Expertise:
Perform complex repairs, support the team with difficult cases, and stay updated on industry trends.
Customer Interaction:
Engage with customers to understand their needs, explain service options, and ensure a positive experience.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate service records, report to management, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in auto glass repair preferred.
Proven experience in auto glass repair and replacement with strong technical skills.
Experience in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage a team and multitask.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
Skills:
Certification in auto glass repair and replacement.
Knowledge of vehicle safety standards and regulations.
Proficiency in inventory management systems.
