Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Foreman to oversee operations in our shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring quality control, completing their own work orders, and supervising a team of skilled technicians. This role requires strong leadership skills, being an experienced journeyman technician, and strong customer service traits. The Shop Foreman will play a crucial role in driving job completion through efficiency and motivation while fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel to ensure efficient workflow. Complete assigned work orders as dispatched in coordination with the Fixed Operations Manager. Utilize PBS Dealer Management Software to analyze the productivity of the shop. Implement quality control measures to ensure all work meets Stellantis, AMVIC, and AHS standards. Collaborate with Fixed Operation Manager on shop equipment maintenance and upgrades. Train, mentor, and evaluate apprentices and techs to enhance their skills and performance. Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations. Troubleshoot any difficult work orders with the assigned technician.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within an automotive shop. Proficiency in a dealer management software and all other necessary diagnostic tools. Strong knowledge of quality control processes and standards in the automotive industry. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills to interact with team members and customers. A drive to have the most optimized, efficient and highest moral shop.
This role will report to the Fixed Operations Manager.

Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
