Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring they are safe and functioning optimally. This role requires proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. Strong customer service skills are essential as you will interact with clients to explain repairs and maintenance needs.

Must have 310 S or 310 T license.

Responsibilities



Conduct diagnostic procedures to accurately identify automotive issues and make effective recommendations for solutions. Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery installations, headlight and taillight installations, transmission work and flushes, air conditioner recharges, and front-end alignments. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete repairs. Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations. Assist in heavy lifting when necessary during repairs or part installations. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Requirements



Licensed Automotive Technician Proven experience as an Automotive Technician. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs. Familiarity with automotive repair processes and best practices. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
