Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role requires proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's needs and provide exceptional customer service. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Assist in assembly tasks when required, ensuring all components are correctly installed.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic; dealership experience is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Familiarity with automotive repair techniques and maintenance procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes. Welding skills are considered an asset but not mandatory. A valid driver's license is required for this position.
