Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our family-owned and operated repair shop. We offer a clean & easy-going working environment, competitive pay & a full company-paid benefits package (after 3 months).

The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact for customers needing vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring a seamless and positive service experience. This role requires strong communication skills and an excellent knowledge of the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automotive repair processes to help accurately assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

Duties

Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a welcoming environment Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues Communicate repair recommendations clearly, explaining necessary services and costs Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs Handle payments efficiently Maintain detailed records of service orders, repairs and customer interactions

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience is a MUST for understanding vehicle repairs and diagnostics Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients Knowledge of automotive repair processes, parts and maintenance schedules Ability to handle payments accurately and responsibly Must be able to take initiative Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Professional appearance and positive attitude essential for representing our business
