Location:

Volkswagen St. John's, NL

Salary:

Earn $60,000 to $100,000 annually with On Target Earnings (OTE), Commission, and Bonus

Hours:

40 Hours per week, Monday through Friday, Saturday rotation

Permanent, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:



Customer Engagement

: Greet customers warmly and understand their preferences and needs. Provide information on available vehicles and guide them through the sales process. Develop ongoing and profitable relationships with customers while continuously maintaining a professional image for the company.

Sales Process:

Effectively communicate the features and benefits of various vehicles. Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle based on their requirements and budget. Sell and/or lease vehicles according to the dealership's gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards.

Product Knowledge:

Stay current on the features, specifications, and technology of the vehicles in our inventory. Understand the automotive industry terminology and keep abreast of technological changes. Participate in product training. Provide accurate and detailed information to customers.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Follow up on all sales leads and maintain regular contact with potential and existing customers. Promote new business and contribute to the company's customer base by sourcing new customers through prospecting and referral networks.

Paperwork and Documentation:

Complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently to ensure a smooth transaction process. Collaborate with the finance department to secure financing for customers.

Sales Targets:

Meet and exceed monthly sales targets. Work collaboratively with the sales team to contribute to the overall success of the dealership.

Required Competencies:



High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid Driver's License with clean driver's abstract required. Established track record with 2-3 years of high-performance Sales achievement. Strong communicator with exceptional verbal and written aptitude. Committed to providing exceptional customer service experiences. Strong follow-up capabilities and genuine customer-first mindset. In-depth understanding of Sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.

Physical Requirements:



Movement: Extensive walking throughout the dealership and lots. Physical Activities: Involves bending, stretching, lifting, climbing, and reaching. Standing: Requires standing for extended periods of time. Manual Dexterity: Utilizes physical and manual dexterity for various tasks. Technology Use: Involves using computers, technology, and data entry. Equipment Operation: Utilizes equipment consistent with industry standards. Driving: Operating a motor vehicle.

Work Environment:



Noise: Work environment may be noisy. Dust: Exposure to dust is possible. Outdoor Work: Frequently involves working outside, exposed to all seasons.
