Overview

Swamp Rider is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Automotive Painter

to join our team. You'll be working hands-on with our custom-built utility-terrain vehicles (UTVs), applying high-quality finishes in a professional spray booth using premium materials. This position requires proven experience with airless spray equipment and a strong focus on precision, consistency, and durability.

Duties

Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning for optimal paint adhesion Apply primers, paints, and clear coats using spray guns and

airless spray equipment

in a controlled spray booth Mix paints and coatings to match specified colors and textures Inspect painted surfaces and perform touch-ups or refinishing as needed Maintain painting tools, spray equipment, and the booth in clean and safe condition Assist with minor bodywork and surface prep as part of the production process Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE when handling paint and chemicals Coordinate with production and assembly teams to meet quality and delivery deadlines

Experience & Skills

Mandatory experience using airless spray equipment

Previous experience in automotive, UTV, or equipment painting Solid knowledge of prep and painting techniques Skilled with paint spray guns, sanding tools, and related equipment Physically able to lift/move heavy parts and stand for long periods High attention to detail and commitment to producing top-tier results Team player with a strong work ethic
