and Responsibilities:

We are looking to expand our team with a permanent full-time mechanic, responsible for:

Inspect and test mechanical units, such as engines, axles, and brake systems, to locate faults and malfunctions Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications,tune ups and wheel alignments Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements. Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems. Wheel Alignments Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor Repair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with the supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records. Reporting any and all safety issues to the supervisor

Skills Requirements:

Completion of post-secondary training courses or mechanical engineering degree Minimum 2-3 years of mechanic repair experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training Experience in mechanic and electrical repairs, brake systems, locating faults and malfunctions Ability and experience to properly conduct hazard assessments and be cognizant of safety issues and concerns Physical capabilities: comfortable with heights and working with ladders, able to manage heavy loads, physically demanding work, hand-eye coordination, ability to distinguish bending, crouching, and kneeling

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour
