We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic guidance to support our growth objectives. This role requires a strong background in financial management, including budgeting, account reconciliation, and payroll processing. The Financial Controller will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the organization and will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
Conduct account reconciliation and analysis to maintain accurate financial records.
Supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
Implement and maintain accounting software systems such as QuickBooks or Xero for efficient financial management.
Prepare payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Provide insights on financial performance to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Develop internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.
Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, account reconciliation, account analysis, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, and accounting software.
Proficiency in using QuickBooks or Xero is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Exceptional communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
