INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing is a successful and expanding Canadian firm that specializes in the design, building, and modify a wide variety of highest quality luxury and security standard armored trucks, vans, SUVs, and limousines. The company utilizes a combination of advanced custom-made technologies, modern composite, and transparent ballistic materials to create superb luxury, yet top-secure vehicles for its clients.

The Automotive Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and computer-based equipment in motor vehicles.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and code specifications. Inspect, road test motor vehicles, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults. Install, all interior electronics and audio/visual systems such as Android radio, surround cameras, alarm system, etc. Create vehicle electrical control boards as per vehicle work order. Create wiring harness as per vehicle work order. Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems to the manufacturer's performance specifications by using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment. Troubleshoot any unforeseen issues that arise related to an automotive part of electronics. Complete other duties as directed by the Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of secondary school is required. One (1) year of relevant experience.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Good practical skills for using a range of tools and electronic instruments. Knowledge of machinery, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems. Experience of working in an automotive environment, in particular with bulletproof luxury vehicles. Ability to work methodically and pay close attention to details. Good problem-solving skills, pay close attention to detail, and collaborate with others. Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams. Ability to work alone and as part of a team. Ability to keep up to date with developments in engine and electrical technology.
