City Tire & Auto (Grand Falls-Windsor)

is seeking an automotive electrical specialist with extensive experience with stater, alternator and battery sales, service and diagnosis to join its customer focused and safety-oriented team.

Work Expectation

Provide customers with expertise in the diagnosis, supply and / or repair of electrical components such as starter, alternators and batteries. Must be experienced in multiple categories of electrical components, passenger, light truck, medium truck, industrial and marine. Knowledge of warranty and core returns for these components is mandatory. Maintain adequate inventory levels of these components with accuracy is also required. Ability to provide a high level of customer service while managing an existing customer base is needed. Review work orders and discuss work with management and/or customer. Inspect vehicle operation, road test motor vehicles, and test systems and components for repair diagnostics. Able to work independently with little supervision. Attention to detail. Good computer skills. Good communication skills both verbal & written. Hours of Operation is 8:00AM to 5:00PM - Monday through Friday. Permanent position.

The Ideal Candidate

A skilled journeyperson (

Red Seal Certified

) or electrical specialist with five years experience that works well within a team environment. Willing and eager to work with apprentices to enable their progression in the trade. Must be able and willing to take assignments as directed from management team. A valid driver's license is non-negotiable. Applicant must provide a satisfactory driver's abstract. 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Apprentice may be considered.

Compensation

Competitive compensation:

$32.99

per hour for journeyperson or five year experienced electrical specialist plus incentives.
