The Detail Technician will be responsible for contributing to the productivity and efficiency of the detail department. Responsibilities include detailing vehicles to remove any signs of an accident or repair, perform necessary maintenance to the shop as required and manage work assignments to achieve targets.
Duties
Detail vehicles to remove any signs of an accident or repair.
Perform necessary maintenance to the shop as required.
Wash vehicles before and after the reparations required.
As required, polish vehicles.
Manage work assignments to achieve targets set out by production and parts efficiency manager.
Ensure the achievement of quality standards in restoration and repair, to reduce and eliminate re-work and warranty claims.
Review repair orders to work as efficiently as possible.
Constructively seek opportunities to provide feedback on repair orders to reduce costs
Other related tasks as required.
Requirements
- Possess a valid drivers' license.
Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
Able to work well under pressure.
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
