Highbury Ford has an immediate requirement for an experienced
Automotive Detailer
to join our successful dealership in London, ON. In this key role, you will perform reconditioning cleaning and detailing of trade in's, customer vehicles in for service and body shop repair, delivery cleans and retail/commercial cleans. Additional duties related to general shop duties and housekeeping.
We are a Dealership Automotive Repair facility offering a full array of services including New & Used car sales, Parts and a Body Shop. We are a dealership that is looking for those interested in joining a dynamic team of individuals that are focused on maintaining long-term relationships with our retail & commercial customers. We focus on providing a superior customer experience with our retail, wholesale and internal customers.
Ford experience beneficial, but we do have a Ford training program for those Automotive Detailer candidates with general or alternate manufacturer training. If interested in applying, please send you resume in confidence.
Responsibilities
Evaluate condition of vehicle.
Ensure clean requested suits the clean required.
Where necessary, communicate concerns with management up front, prior to beginning any detailing.
Perform reconditioning, demo, courtesy, delivery and all retail/commercial cleans as requested.
Ensure a superior finished product. Quality of clean is top priority.
Caretake for vehicles bringing them in and out of the shop safely.
Forward all belongings left in vehicle to manager at completion of work.
Perform any shop related duties or other such ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Proficient with detailing of vehicles.
Possess a strong track record of quality.
Proficient with computer systems and programs
Able to clearly communicate issues
Strong organizational skills with ability to multi task
Must be professional, possess strong customer service skills and work well in a fast paced environment
Dependable, strong work ethic, high level of professional integrity
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
