Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance while working under the guidance of experienced technicians. Responsibilities

Assist in diagnosing and repairing vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Follow schematics and assembly instructions to ensure proper installation of parts. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and recommendations. Collaborate with senior technicians to learn advanced repair techniques and troubleshooting methods. Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and skills.

Experience

Previous dealership experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with automotive repair processes, including mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems. Experience with welding is a plus, as well as proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs and maintenance tasks. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and team members. A basic understanding of automotive schematics and assembly processes is beneficial.
