Bannon's Auto Centre is currently seeing a motivated Automotive Apprentice to join our team!

Whether you are just starting your journey or already enrolled in a 310S or 310T apprenticeship, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, fast-paced shop environment.

As an apprentice, you will work under the guidance of a licensed mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of mechanical systems - primarily customer vehicles and light trucks. You will be responsible for assisting with inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs, while developing your skills and knowledge in the trade.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs under the guidance of a licensed technician Perform routine maintenance on customer vehicles and shop equipment Interpret service manuals, schematics, and diagrams to support accurate repairs Document repair work, timesheets, and apprenticeship progress accurately Maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to overall shop upkeep Use shop systems to track work performed and parts used Follow all safety protocols and company policies Support other team members with various tasks as needed

Qualifications

High School Diploma Enrolled in or planning to begin a 310S or 310T apprenticeship (preferred) Minimum one (1) year of related hands-on experience (formal or informal) Valid Ontario driver's license Basic mechanic's tools are a strong asset Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude Attention to detail, problem solving ability, and a team-first attitude.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 42.5 per week
