We are currently accepting applications for the position of
Administrator
for our busy Police/Public Safety Vehicle Division. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and customer-oriented. The candidate will excel in multitasking within a high-paced setting with a proven track record in a similar field. As the Administrator, you will play an important role in providing exceptional service and be the first point of contact for our Police, Fire, and Public works customers. Your key tasks involve managing and ordering parts, assisting our customers, and ensuring our team of technicians is supported, allowing them to efficiently do their tasks daily.
Duties and Responsibilities
Delivers exceptional customer service to customers and ensures an ongoing commitment to the needs of the customer
Ensures a smooth flow of communication with customers/technicians and management at all times
Respond efficiently to all customer inquiries, requests and concerns, over the phone (and in person when required) in a professional and mature manner
Understands customer needs, manage customer concerns and problems promptly
Ordering parts and supplies for vehicles
Complete entry of all data fields to create POs, correct/edit existing POs as needed, update and maintain vendor information
Identify low stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy while ensuring meticulous record-keeping
Confirm accuracy of all suppliers' offerings before processing any orders
Parts sourcing and researching new vendors
Receiving incoming vehicles and tracking through the build cycle
Completes other tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience in parts ordering and/or inventory management
Cross-border importing experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Proficient in using computer systems and software for order processing and inventory management
Previous experience in customer service or parts management is required
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with a team-player attitude
Advanced computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel is a mandatory requirement
Strong understanding of automotive electrical principles
Strong work and moral ethic
Pre-employment Police Background check is mandatory
