Automation Technician
Job Description
At least 1 year's experience as a PLC programmer.
At least 1 year's experience of PLC programming for AB or Siemens
At least 1 year's experience on electrical wiring.
Experience with Vision system (Keyence, Cognex), Robotic (Fanuc, ABB) preferred
Electrical and mechanical engineering experience preferred.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical processes.
Knowledge of software design principals.
Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software (Siemens prefered) and coding languages.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Eligible to travel to USA
Travel requriement around 25-45%
Job Types: Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
Woodbridge, ON L4L 5Z6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Willingness to travel:
50% (preferred)
